TPI Composites Inc.

TPI Composites Inc. (was Tillotson Pearson Inc.) is a leading manufacturer of a wide range of composite products for industrial applications as well as sail and powerboats. TPI have pioneered the industrial application of resin infusion and hold several patents for the system they devleoped. The company owns a 250,00 square foot facility Rhode Island, USA and employs over 300 people.

In the yachting world, TPI are well known as the builders J-Boats of more than 20 years. They were also short-time builder of the Farrier designed F-31 (a production version of his successful F-9A). Only a handful of models were made, but a later development of the design became the Corsair 31. Two very successful Lagoon models were built by TPI.
