Producer of Swedish Seaon trimarans.

Computer Aided Design (CAD) is used throughout the construction process to optimise performance, and to combine both aerodynamic and hydrodynamic aspects with weight and structure of the Seaons. The design objective is to optimise structural strength in order to build lighter boats.

In 2003, Seaon started participating in the Eureka research project Hullmos II "Integrity of structures of light materials like aluminium and composites in shipbuilding, measuring and monitoring." A Seaon 96crb will be equipped with optical fibres with sensors in order to measure loads and deflection in the hulls and beams.
