Robertson & Caine

Robertson and Caine have become the largest catamaran builder in South Africa, supplying the complete line of Leopard catamarans to The Moorings which have become very successful in the world charter market. Leopards are noted for being superbly designed for holidays afloat as well as for their excellent build quality.

1991 

Robertson & Caine forme their boat building firm to construct high-tech composite racing boats

1995

R&C form an alliance with The Moorings Charter Company. In the next four years they deliver more than 100 cruising cats of 38 and up to charter bases around the world

1997 

The Leopard 38, built by Robertson and Caine and designed locally in South Africa, is awarded first place in the SAIL magazine 'Top Ten Cruising Boats of the Year'

1998 

The Leopard 38 sailing catamaran in SAIL magazine's Top Ten

Moorings 4500 (Leopard 45 is the winner of CRUISING WORLD's 'Best Charter Boat of the Year' award

2001 

Robertson & Caine deliver the 150th yacht to The Moorings Charter Company

2002

Leopard 42 in SAIL magazine's Top Ten
