The multihull pioneer Pat Patterson founded his catamaran design and building business in 1968 in Millbrook, Cornwall, UK. The Twins range that he developed and manufactured in the following decades became one of the most long-lived and successful lines of cruising catamarans ever. The company was renamed Multihull Centre in 1985, when his son Pip and daughter-in-law Debbie came on board.
The scope of production was extended to include Twins power cats as well as performance cruising catamaran models from Woods Designs, who are near neighbours.
The Multihull Centre prides itself on its craftsmen, quality of materials used, production know-how and production facilities. They are one of the oldest specialist multihull builders and the biggest in the UK.
