Simonis Voogd Design

Alex Simonis and Maarten Voogd are designers of the Leopard range of catamarans that have been outstandingly successful in the world charter market under the 'The Moorings' brand.

Winners of several awards, Leopard catamarans have been praised for combining several key features crucial to the holiday market: easy handling and lively performance; spacious and uncluttered living areas; accessibility of key areas and systems.

Simonis Voogd Design is the Dutch office of the two designers, who have been working together in South Africa since the early '90s. Another member of the design team is Anthony Key, who is now managing the South African business.
