Multi Marine (Michael Leneman)

Mike Leneman, a well-known figure in the US multihull circuit and former professor of oceanography (his company Multi Marine sells Corsair, Fountaine Pajot and Switch boats and various other products and services for multihulls), has designed and built a number of boats.

The latest of these, the L-7, is a 7 m (22 ft 11 in) foldable, trailerable trimaran. The prototype is light and very fast with an aluminium rig (no traveller), dacron cross-cut sails and a roller-furling code zero type sail for downwind sailing. The boat has a cabin with a small galley and a portapotti. It is available as a kit for home-builders.
