Alain Mortain and Yiannis Mavrikios founded Mortain & Mavrikios in 1994. Their output includes power and sail, mono and multihull craft and they have achieved commercial success in all areas. They designed the previous Nautitech range of cruising catamarans as well as the Punch line of cats. The Dufour Nautitech 435 won Cruising World’s Boat of the Year award for the best cruising multihull in 1997.

Both designers previously worked in partnership with the renowned designer Phillipe Harlé.
