Dudley Dix Yacht Design offers a wide range of stock monohull designs for home and professional builders, as well as plans for several multihulls, including a folding trimaran and a demountable catamaran. Custom designs are also undertaken. Dudley Dix designed his first boat, a catamaran, in 1973, and started operating professionally after winning the 1979 Cruising World Design Competition with a 33 ft 4 in (10.2 m) sloop, a monohull.
