Christophe Barreau

Since the early 1990s, naval architect Christophe Barreau has designed the Catana range of catamarans. One model, the Catana 471, won the 1999 Cruising World Boat of the Year award in the USA.

Christophe Barreau also designed a few other multihulls, among them a couple of 50 ft (15.24 m) and a 76 ft (21 m) fast cruising/racing catamarans, which are still [2004] in the construction or design phase.
