Bob Harris
Bob Harris is a veteran multihull designer based in Long Island. He was a friend of Victor Tchetchet, the multihull pioneer who is credited with coining the word 'trimaran.'
One of Bob Harris's early successes was an 18 ft (5.5 m) racer, the Tiger Cat, introduced in 1959, which went on to win many regattas in the USA. The Tiger Cat rapidly grew in popularity and was a catalyst in the catamaran revolution of the 1960s.
