Altair Marine (Kerry Thomas)

Kerry Thomas of Altair Marine specializes in designing sailing catamarans of 8.5 to 10 m (27 ft 11 in to 32 ft 10 in) length for home or volume production.

One of the designs is the "Clamcat," a 28 ft folding catamaran which reduces to an 8 ft beam for easy trailering.

Stock designs are in ply or cedar strip, glassed over.
