The Yapluka 47 is very similar to the earlier Yapluka 53 with the same stylish looks. Like her forerunner the Yapluka 47 aims to provide customers every possible comfort afloat with spacious and luxuriously appointed living areas.
In the Yapluka 47, however, fixed keels replace the daggerboards used in the earlier model. This development is perhaps more in keeping with the style of craft, which has more emphasis on the comfort of the ride than on the performance.
Engine noise is hardly perceptible in the cabins due to very effective soundproofing. Sail handling is easy with two electric winches to control the mainsail, and a self-tacking gennaker.
The cockpit floor is teak. A table in the center of the cockpit opens to reveal a small bar. The decked areas surrounding the cockpit can be used for sunbathing.
The accommodation in the hulls is roomy and the saloon is tastefully decorated with upholstery that matches the wood paneling.
