Windsong
Home-built from plans
- Brand:
- Woods
- Designed by:
- Lilian Woods, Woods Designs
- Description:
Windsong is a capable ocean cruiser; one of the simplest to build. Small boats are much less work to build and Windsong is near the minimum size for safe ocean crossings. With her deep V hull sections and no bridgedeck cabin, construction is about as straightforward as it could be.
Windsong is based on the first Woods' design, COCKLESHELL HERO, which they built in 1979 and cruised and lived on for 5 years. Several Windsongs have made Atlantic crossings.
