Description:

In the line of sleek looking Fountaine Pajot cruising catamarans, the Venezia, first launched in 1992, was perhaps the sleekest yet. She has fine entry bows, a streamlined profile and the saloon window 'visor' which became the trademark design feature of many later Fountaine Pajot cats. The wrap-around panoramic saloon window is shaded and ventilated by an extension to the roof, which makes the bridgedeck cabin look a bit like a helmet visor.

The boat has been set up for short-handed sailing, with all controls leading to the cockpit. Performance is good on all points of sail due to an efficient underbody and sail plan. The accommodations are comfortable and practical. Single berths have been added to the two forward staterooms, making them idea for crew members or families with children. With the Venezia 42, much effort has been made to produce a craft that combines cruising comfort and stability with good performance and ease of handling.
