Home-built from plans
- Brand:
- Wharram
- Designed by:
- James Wharram Designs
- Description:
The Tiki 21 is a trailerable, 2-4 berth coastal cruiser with a high aspect ratio gaff rig. The sail has a luff sleeve that encloses the spar and acts like a wing mast. The boat is simple and economical to build, using ingenious 'appropriate technology' so that expensive fittings do not have to be purchased.
Winner of Cruising World's 1982 Design Competition.
The Tiki 26 is an evolution of this design.
