Description:

The Privilege 482, introduced 1992, is an updated version of the Privilege 48. Like the previous model, the 482 is aimed primarily at the charter market with spacious accommodation, plush interiors, and outside spaces designed with leisure in mind. She has four elegant staterooms, a saloon with two seating areas (whereas the 48 had one), a large cockpit with tables for outside dining, and sunbathing decks.

The 482 has a taller rig than the 48 with more sail area giving it a better sailing performance. The backstays of the 48 have been eliminated and all sail controls lead to the cockpit making handling simpler. In addition, the crew quarters, forward of the saloon on the 482, have their own heads. An owner's version of the 482 was also available.
