Description:

The Privilege 47, introduced in 1985, was the first cruiser from Jeantot Marine. The design was targeted well for the rapidly developing luxury charter markets of the Mediterranean and Caribbean, with 5 double cabins - 4 very well appointed with en-suite heads and showers. The Prvilege 47 has a lot of deck space and a large cockpit, and high quality fittings and fixtures. A large central nacelle forward of the saloon increases accommodation space and became a distinctive trademark of the Privilege line. The design exploits the benefits of a catamaran for classy holiday relaxation and cruising comfort rather than for speedy passage making - a concept that proved very successful over the ensuing years for Jeantot Marine and several other manufacturers from France that entered the market at about the same time. Some Privilege 47 models are still in the charter market in the Mediterranean [2004].
