Privilege 465
- Brand:
- Privilege
- Designed by:
- Marc Lombard Architecture Navale
- Yard(s):
- Alliaura Marine
- Description:
The Privilege 465, introduced in 1998, was an evolutionary step forward in the development of the Privilege line which subsequent models have followed. The 465 was built using new manufacturing techniques, including vacuum infusion, to produce a more efficient, lighter structure. The design also incorporates new measures conceived by the shipyard and design team to cater for changes in the market requirements. The result is a better performing high-end cruiser with more options to appeal to potential private owners with differing preferences. Nevertheless the dedication to luxury and practical comfort remains unchanged. Accommodation spaces are roomy, light, and it is easy to move between them. The high quality of joinery and finish, a hallmark Privilege craft, adds to the feeling of luxury.
The galley is just a step down from the level of the saloon. This arrangement has the advantage of excellent views through the windows and of being in a social centre of the boat. Generally the 465 has better forward visibility from inside the saloon than previous models.
