Description:

A development from the PDQ 34, the extra length added to create the PDQ 36 gave the hulls better load-carrying capacity for well-equipped cruising. Other improvements included reverse-sheer transoms incorporating moulded steps. The PDQs have a characteristic three-tier look. A lower, wide coachroof spans almost the full beam of the boat, giving good headroom in each hull. A higher central coach room gives headroom in the entrance to the bridgedeck cabin and passage to the two hulls.

The boat has earned a considerable reputation as a comfortable and reliable, yet adventurous, family cruiser. The PDQ 36 is especially noted for excellence in construction and in design concept execution.
