Description:

The Melanesia is a single outrigger canoe from James Wharram's "Ethnic" range. The series is being developed [2004] to encompass outrigger craft, proas, double outriggers and double canoes, both inshore and offshore types from the various Pacific and Indian Ocean saling areas. The designs are intended to provide a working insight into these vessels.
