The Lagoon 35 CCC (Coastal Cruising Catamaran) is the first all-American designed and built boat of this brand. The plans were drawn by racing multihull specialists Morrelli and Melvin and production was by TPI, using the advanced SCRIMP resin infusion process they developed and patented.
Without any pretensions to be in the "sports cruiser" speed bracket, the Lagoon 35 is highly optimised for her intended use as a comfortable and capable charter or owner's coastal cruiser. The hulls are relatively light and slender, giving a very useful performance with a modest and easily managed sail area. High single digit average cruising speeds can be maintained in moderate conditions. The deck is designed for simple operation and easy access to make good use of the large available space for sailing, lounging or swimming.
The Lagoon 35 CCC has a good load-carrying capacity and sufficient bridgedeck clearance to avoid excessive wave slap in costal cruising conditions.
