Indigo 43

 Home-built from plans

Brand:
Tennant
Designed by:
Malcolm Tennant Multihull Design Limited
Description:

The Indigo 43 was designed primarily for charter work, hence the centrally located heads in the hulls and the galley on the bridgedeck. The twin cockpit doors either side of the helm plinth also facilitate the movement of large numbers of people usually found on a charter vessel. There are walk-through transoms – you don’t have to clamber out of the cockpit – and the inboard side of the hulls down aft are cut away to create a larger than usual boarding platform that allows the dinghy to come in alongside to transfer passengers. The cockpit has generous seating and also features a barbecue and a removable game-fishing chair. The boat is helmed from a raised central plinth which also has the electric main sheet winch ready to hand.
