The Hitia 17 is a transportable day sailor with a 'Sprit Wing Sail' rig. She is intended for very basic, camp-style cruising as there is no permanent accommodation. However, there is ample storage space for a tent and other gear. Having no daggerboards or drop rudders, she can be easily sailed off a beach.
