The Gemini 3400, introduced in 1993, was the predecessor of the Gemini 105 and the first in the series to have moulded transom steps. A new kick-up rudder system was developed for the new transom design. Like all Gemini models the 3400 has kick-up centreboards to enhance sailing performance. However, she also has low aspect ratio fixed keels, needed to protect the under-slung rudders from damage when grounding.

Hull: Solid GRP, laminated from woven roving and mat with polyester resin. An outer layer of polyester resin protects against osmosis.
