- Description:
The FastCat 435 is a lightweight performance ocean-cruising catamaran built in the Vector-K system with epoxy resin infusion, PVC foam carbon, kevlar and 3-D glass.
The main target is the live-aboard segment, who would likely to use this catamaran for extensive cruising for up to 6 people in comfort. The boat was designed with ergonomics in mind. It has spacious living areas, two king-sized beds in the rear and two singles up front.

- Deck layout and gear:
- All sail handling is done from the cockpit
- Reefing also from cockpit, using the three reefing points with single line reefing.
- All halyards are led through a tunnel under deck from the mast to the central winch in the cockpit. This creates an uncluttered deck with only the genoa sheets on top of the saloon.
- Wide walk ways alongside the saloon area.
- The cockpit area is raised for better visibility over saloon roof.
- Compression beam made from carbon fibre, .2 ft (60 cm) wide between the trampolines, making a sure foothold when changing a sail or when anchoring.

- High aspect ratio fin keels made from carbon and Kevlar
- Rudder is made completely out of carbon fibre

- Accommodation:
Port hull: Double cabin in the stern with a king-sized bed of 1.80 m x 2.20 m. Midships cabinets - all cabinets are built around and within 3 meters of the centre of gravity. Head forward. Single berth of 2.20 m length in the bow.
Saloon: Large chart table forward. Settee with table for six. The galley is facing back, with a sliding window to the cockpit to facilitate communication and passing of food. Excellent view out of the large sandwich glass saloon windows.
Starboard hull: Same as port hull.
