FastCat 395
- Brand:
- African Cats
- Designed by:
- Simonis Voogd Design
- Description:
The FastCat 395, introduced in 1999, is a very comfortable ocean cruising cat with space for 6 to ten people. First models were built in hand-laminate polyester. Recently production was converted to the Vector-K process. The boat is not 3.5 tons lighter than before, making her very fast and yet allowing a payload of over 4 tons. This means the boat can be raced successfully as a lightship, and loaded up for extended cruising.
Like all FastCats, the 395 is set up for short-handed sailing. Prospective owners can choose from three different layouts, with 2, 3 or 4 cabins.
