The Dragonfly 920 Extreme is very similar to the Dragonfly 920 Swing Wing, but with increased stability and a more powerful rig.
Longer akas give the DF 920 Extreme an extra metre of beam, raising the static stability of the boat. The mast is taller by 1.5 metres compared with the other 920 versions and the sail area correspondingly larger. Performance, especially in light conditions is significantly livelier.
The Dragonfly 920 Extreme won a European Yacht of the Year award in 2003.
