Description:

The basic design of the Disco Volante (Flying Saucer) is equally applicable to the Pacific flying proa and the Atlantic one. The fully 360 degree rotatable wing rig enables changes of direction to be made almost as quickly as in other mulithulls, although ‘shunting’ to change direction is still required. This is a high performance craft aimed at finishing first in its class in ocean racing.
