Altair
Home-built from plans
- Brand:
- Tennant
- Designed by:
- Malcolm Tennant Multihull Design Limited
- Description:
The Altair is a serious cruising boat with a generous full load displacement, which allows for a good load carrying capability without compromising the height of the bridgedeck off the water or the boat's performance. It is likely to float a little high at the launching but the designer wryly comments that the average owner will be able to add enough gear to sink it down to its designed waterline within a year.
